The Evolution of Natural Beaded Row Hair Extensions: My Journey with Hand-Tied Hair.
Over 13 years ago, I embarked on a journey that led to the creation of the Natural Beaded Row (NBR) hair extension brand. Before launching NBR, I had worked with hand-tied hair for over a decade, gaining invaluable experience and insights.
During this time, I developed a unique beaded row system using hand-tied hair. Back then, no one was using hand-tied hair for extensions quite like I was. I discovered that the flat, small seam of the weft in hand-tied hair allowed me to stack multiple pieces on a single row. Instead of trying to fit six rows on my tiny head, I could achieve maximum fullness with just two rows by stacking more wefts on each row.
Fast forward 13 years, and hand-tied hair extensions have become all the rage. I often joke that I'm the OG of hand-tied hair.
However, it's essential to understand that "hand-tied" refers only to how the hair is sewn together. This term doesn't define the actual extension system, nor does it dictate the brand or quality of the hair.
I always emphasize that 50% of the success of any extension system lies in the quality and brand of the hair you choose.
It had always been my dream to create a hand-tied hairline, inspired by the struggles I faced using multiple different brands. In 2018, I launched ISLA Hand-Tied Hair to address those challenges.
Check out this video where I discuss the benefits of ISLA Hand-Tied Hair and why it stands out from other brands.
ISLA Hair is exclusive to the Natural Beaded Row Hair Extension System.
