This past week was full. Not the kind of busy that leaves you drained—but the kind that reminds you you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

From sitting with women who’ve rebuilt their lives, to having real conversations about love, intimacy, and what happens behind the scenes when the cameras are off… to sneaking away for a few quiet days in St. Lucia—this one felt like life doing what it does best.

Here’s the breakdown:

Karina Safarova on The Danielle K. White Show

From refugee to powerhouse: Karina came to the U.S. as a refugee from Ukraine—with nothing. No support, no plan, just that quiet internal fire you either have or you don’t. She rebuilt everything from scratch.

Now, she’s a life strategist, speaker, wellness expert—and more than any of those titles—she’s the kind of woman who walks it. She’s on a mission to help other people heal and take their power back. And you can feel it when she speaks.

We talked about starting over, owning your story, and the way true transformation doesn’t come from a course or a coach—it comes from within. If you’ve ever felt like your past disqualifies you, Karina’s story will shift that.

Catch the episode—trust me.

Date Your Wife Podcast: Forbes Riley + Joshua Self: real talk on love, age gaps & intimacy

This episode was a vibe. We brought on Forbes Riley and her man, Joshua Self. You probably know Forbes as the queen of pitching, but this convo had nothing to do with business.

This was about relationships. Period.

We talked about the real stuff—what it’s like being in love when you’ve both lived full lives already. The challenges that come with a big age gap. How to stay connected when life is fast, messy, public.

There were moments that were funny, moments that got quiet, and moments that were just honest in a way you don’t hear enough.

Joshua—world champion bodybuilder, 2x Arnold champ, fitness model—came in grounded and open. Not performative. Just present. It was refreshing.

Garrett and I walked away feeling like we’d just had dinner with good friends, not recorded a podcast. Those are my favorite ones.

If you’re in a relationship—or want to be—this one’s for you.

St. Lucia

No work. Just us.

After all that, I needed to unplug. So I booked a last-minute trip and surprised Garrett for his birthday. Just us. No clients. No calls. No pressure.

We landed in St. Lucia, and instantly, my shoulders dropped. It’s one of those places that makes you breathe differently. You remember who you are outside of your roles.

We didn’t have an agenda. We hiked, we ate, we swam, we drank, we talked, we laughed. I packed a few of my favorite swimsuits (I call them my mini outfits because… they are), and we just enjoyed each other.

No content. No strategy. Just life.

Wrapping it up…

This week reminded me:

  • Your past isn’t your prison—Karina proved that.

  • Love isn’t about perfection—it’s about presence. Forbes and Joshua reminded me of that.

  • And peace doesn’t need a reason—sometimes you just book the flight and go.

If you haven’t yet, go check out the new episodes:

And if you’re curious about the work I do or want to follow along behind the scenes, you can always find me at

See you there.
