I want to first introduce myself and tell you what you can expect in terms of content here on this blog. I am the creator of a hair extension technique called Natural Beaded Row, hair extensions, and the creator of ISLA Hand Tied Hair. Additionally, I am the salon owner of one of the top hair extension salons in Orange County, called DKW Styling Salon.
I am a mother of five beautiful children and absolutely love family, fashion, fitness, and hair. Each week, I will be posting Monday through Friday.

Mondays Blog:
If you are married, you’ll love my "Date Your Wife" podcast with my husband and partner in crime, Garrett J. White. We have been married for over 20 years and have one stepson and four beautiful daughters together.
The children range from two years old to 24, and I can tell you, raising toddlers and teenagers plus managing multiple businesses and trying to stay fit can be a bit chaotic some days, but we always keep it real and share the dynamic of what’s going on!
Tuesdays Blog
I’ll be sharing my "Big Money Stylist" podcast. I created my brand, NBR hair extensions, when I was on the brink of divorce, had two kids at the time, and was merely bankrupt.
I built my business from the ground up and saved our marriage and went on to have two more children in the process. This podcast is all about empowering the entrepreneur and the artist, sharing teaching principles and real-life stories from other artists currently working behind the chair.
Wednesdays Blog
This is where I share another podcast with my older kids.
We call this one "The Real White House." Our family dynamic is pretty crazy from toddlers to teenagers living in a modern-day world. It’s fun to share perspectives and more of our story of how we built the life we have today.
Thursdays Blog
You can expect my latest hair tip or hair tutorial. I absolutely love hair and have been behind the chair for over 20 years. I developed NBR hair extensions out of my desire to find a solution to my sad toddler strands of hair.
I absolutely love making women feel beautiful, and the confidence something as simple as hair extensions can exude.
Fridays Blog
This is where I mostly share fashion. Fashion is an expression of someone’s personality and mood; it’s also an outlet for me. I love creatively putting things together.
And a fun fact about me: when I was broke and had no money, and I was trying to position my brand, this is when I got into fashion.
I started mixing high-end designer bags and talking about hair extensions, and it started to take off!
I also absolutely love fitness; this is enjoyable and another outlet for me. I’ve competed in several bikini competitions and even placed first overall in my last show!
I’m definitely not a fitness trainer, but I love sharing realistic tips and tricks on maintaining a healthy body and mindset.
