Balancing Masculine and Feminine Roles in Marriage!
On this week’s episode of the Date Your Wife podcast, we dive into the dynamic balance between masculine and feminine energies in marriage, and yes, how to unleash your inner stripper!!
We focus on how these roles shape our relationships, especially when it comes to managing life at home and beyond.
Balancing Masculine and Feminine Roles in Marriage
During my discussion with Garrett, we explore how even stay-at-home partners, who are managing the household, bills, and raising a family, are essentially running a full-time business. This requires them to tap into their masculine energy. Powerful men who encourage their wives to remain in their feminine energy often overlook the fact that being a mother and managing a household is as demanding as running a business.
To create a harmonious balance in the relationship, both partners must access their masculine and feminine energies. For men, this often means shifting from a full-time "war mode" at work to a softer, more nurturing energy when they come home to be with their wife and children. It takes a conscious effort from both partners to find this balance and maintain a healthy relationship. Garrett and I are not perfect, but we’re constantly working on this individually to meet each other’s needs.
One of the most impactful decisions Garrett and I made this year was hiring a virtual therapist once a week to help with communication. I used to think therapy was for people who were broken, but now I see it as essential for maintaining a strong marriage. We invest time in our businesses, our children, and our families, but often the last thing we prioritize is our marriage and communication. You can’t put a price on this.
