Many artists choose to become salon owners to cut back hours behind the chair. The problem is, we artists jump into being entrepreneurs blindly. This is one of the reasons I was passionate about creating my Academy. When I first opened my salon, I’m pretty sure I did everything wrong, but I was committed to spending more quality time with my family and not burning out behind the chair. So I was committed to finding a path to success as a Salon owner.
On today’s episode of The Big Money Stylist Podcast, I interview one of my artists, Danielle Sprando, who is a new salon owner but luckily has the foundation to create success as a salon owner. A community and support system will help her evolve from the artist to the entrepreneur.
Danielle's journey with Natural Beaded Rows (NBR) began in 2018 when she attended BMS Con, a convention that opened her eyes to the potential of NBR extensions. However, it wasn't until 2022 that she decided to fully immerse herself in the NBR Academy, a decision that would ultimately lead her to open her own salon.
