Today on the podcast, we are talking about being honest. I share my feelings of never trying to burden anybody with my problems or feelings. As a mother, I’m in charge of making sure everybody else's needs are met. I often don’t want to burden anybody with my thoughts or feelings. I also don’t want my husband ever to feel like I’m not grateful for what he does for the family. So, like many women, we suppress our feelings only to find resentment inside of our relationship.
This last year, I’ve worked immensely on myself and learned how to clearly communicate what I want. This can be painful sometimes, but it has helped our relationship grow stronger and feel safer. Women crave safety and security but are often scared to share their truth.
We also discussed returning to church this year and the opportunities and doors that have opened for us.
Have you ever been in a period in your life where you keep moving forward and keep hitting green lights, and you’re not sure exactly what you’re doing, but you have faith and trust the process. In many ways, this is how I have felt this past year, and it all started with letting go and being honest with myself and honest inside my relationships.
The more open you are, the more opportunities you will see. I Constantly strive to think outside the box, dream bigger, and make a dent in this life.
You’re in charge of creating your story, so make it a good one!
